Kung Fu Chris - Drunken Master: ANSI Colour in Lima Mudlib
http://kungfuchris.blogspot.com/2005/04/ansi-colour-in-lima-mudlib.html
A blog for my thoughts, ideas and projects. Sunday, April 24, 2005. ANSI Colour in Lima Mudlib. As a way to ease myself in to starting to make changes to the mudlib itself, I have started to play with the default colour settings. So I have now changed the default colour for the room short. Description. Easily done, but hardly modifying the mudlib in any way. After searching through the various files I found the code that is used to display objects (including players) in the room desc.c. Then, finding the...

Kung Fu Chris - Drunken Master: Kelianon MUD back in development!
http://kungfuchris.blogspot.com/2005/02/kelianon-mud-back-in-development.html
A blog for my thoughts, ideas and projects. Monday, February 21, 2005. Kelianon MUD back in development! After a bit of searching, I believe I have finally found a code base which I'm relatively happy with. MudOS accompanied with the Lima Bean Mudlib is a bare bones LPC based MUD with enough examples to get me started, but not so much built in that it can't more easily be customised to my needs. More news to follow as I develop ideas on the world and general workings of Kelianon itself.

Kung Fu Chris - Drunken Master: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Review
http://kungfuchris.blogspot.com/2006/12/elder-scrolls-iv-oblivion-review.html
A blog for my thoughts, ideas and projects. Thursday, December 07, 2006. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Review. Sliding silently through the shadows, Lotherig takes aim and lets loose an arrow, felling one of the necromancers before he has time to react. With barely a noise, he darts to one side and slowly draws his blade in preparation for his next deadly strike. First impressions for the voice acting is impressive, with a very high quality. The addition of Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean as main characte...

Kung Fu Chris - Drunken Master: Kelianon - again
http://kungfuchris.blogspot.com/2006/03/kelianon-again.html
A blog for my thoughts, ideas and projects. Thursday, March 30, 2006. Ok so a bit of a false start last time. Perhaps this time it'll be better. After a bit of a prod from Mark, I've started looking at bases for the Mud again. Strangely, a very quick search brought up a real and maintained mudlib for MudOS that's somewhat more 'complete' in many functions than the Lima mudlib. For instance. combat works from the get-set-go. What is this wonder? It's the Dead Souls. Posted by Kung Fu Chris @ 12:05 am.

Kung Fu Chris - Drunken Master: String capitalisation in Lima Mudlib
http://kungfuchris.blogspot.com/2005/04/string-capitalisation-in-lima-mudlib.html
A blog for my thoughts, ideas and projects. Monday, April 25, 2005. String capitalisation in Lima Mudlib. Something that was annoying both myself and my friend helping on Kelianon. Was that says and tells were not automatically capitalising the first letter of the sentance. So I begin to trawl through the files to see what I can find. Most of the grammar functions on strings appear to be held in the module file m grammar.c. Looking through this found me some usefull functions such as punctuate(str).
