Wednesday, December 28, 2011. A wonderful last week. Everyone is used to the fact that we can’t understand each other so it isn’t awkward anymore. We are able to laugh and somewhat gracefully do the toasts and it was just so much fun to think back on how far we have come since that first night here. We said goodbye to the administration and the sweet dear lunch ladies. We were put in the best school in China. I have been so blessed. Monday, December 26, 2011. It was so fun though. I love them so much!

Monday, December 5, 2011. I am thankful for Skype. Yesterday was December 1. And it was the coldest day we have had here yet. I came home after teaching and put on my big comfy sweater and slippers and turned on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas CD as I sat curled up in my chair with some hot chocolate in front of our fake paper fireplace. What a welcome into December, the most wonderful time of the year! I love my family so much. So here are some pictures of my favorite moments on Skype. J.

Friday, September 30, 2011. Today was a really off day. The classes were wild and the weather was dreary and everything was just weird. Both Sara and my classes were terrible today. I had my fifth graders though so they always brighten my day! Haha) and makes an effort to be obnoxious and knock down all the desks when we play games and stuff. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Tonight we got to experience our first Chinese wedding! It was… very very very very very very different. They call it a wedding party, which is exactly what it is! It was definitely VERY different than our weddings in America. Just take the sacred and fancy out of wedding and there ya go! And DEFINITELY in no way was the bride the center of everything like in America. Haha It was fun though! Here is a picture of how gross the shrimp are. they are even grosser in real life!
