Knit-Whit: Book Review
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2010/04/book-review.html
Friday, April 02, 2010. How can it get any better than that? They have a great wit about them and are very talented knitters. The patterns in the book range anywhere from dishcloths to curtains, nightgowns to shawls, seat cushions to towels, blankets to rugs and everything in between for beginners and the more seasoned knitter. If you don't already own this book it is definitely a good one to pick up. It's more than just a knitting pattern book, it's entertainment. Posted by Carrie at 9:37 PM.

Ugh, when we were in Savannah, I wanted to stop by a french bakery to get some of these last weekend because Ive never tried them. The darn bakery was closed. So I never got to try them, and I cant find any here in Hellando. 9:22 AM, August 06, 2010. Minnesota, United States. On my nook. I'm looking forward to Christmas! View my complete profile. Knit-Whit: Dear Dye-O-Rama Pal,
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2006/05/dear-dye-o-rama-pal.html
Friday, May 12, 2006. Dear Dye-O-Rama Pal,. Questions specific to this swap:. Pink, orange, green, blue, bright. Preferred yarn weight (Fingering, Sport, DK, maybe even Worsted)? Do you prefer solid or multicolored yarn? If your buddy is able to do so, would you like a variegated, self-striping, or self-patterning yarn? I don't really like self-patterning, all the rest are great. Would you be interested in a wool blend sock yarn (nylon, tencel, silk, acrylic, alpaca, etc.)? Alpaca makes me itch a little.

Knit-Whit: Grandma's Iris
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2010/05/grandmas-iris.html
Thursday, May 27, 2010. Back in 2003 when my grandmother passed away my mom went to her house before it was sold and dug up a bunch of her flowers and somehow I ended up with quite a few iris'. Over the years they've really taken off and each spring I get more and more blooms. This year when they bloomed I was really excited about this purple one, it reminds me of grandma. Posted by Carrie at 10:21 PM. 10:30 AM, May 28, 2010. Very pretty and a sweet memory. 7:03 PM, May 28, 2010. 9:42 AM, June 01, 2010.

Knit-Whit: Whoops
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2010/11/whoops.html
Wednesday, November 10, 2010. I knit this cool pair of socks for Socktoberfest using the mystery pattern by Through the Loops. This pair of socks were going to be my State Fair entry for 2011! I thought for sure. I would have enough Jitterbug yarn to complete the project but, surprise! I ran out. At least my Frankenstein foot is hidden inside of a shoe if I dare wear these outside the house. Aren't these the saddest socks you've ever seen? Posted by Carrie at 7:35 PM. Knit-Whit: Secret Pal 5 Questionnaire
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2005/05/secret-pal-5-questionnaire.html
Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Secret Pal 5 Questionnaire. 1 Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you? I like natural fibers best. I have used novelty yarns in addition to natural fibers but I'm not into 100% fuzzy plastic scarfs. I typically shop at yarn shops as opposed to hobby shops and I have been known to buy RH and LB but only when no one's looking. 2 Do you spin? 3 Do you have any allergies? I like bright...

Knit-Whit: Reasons I Love my nook
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2010/09/reasons-i-love-my-nook.html
Saturday, September 25, 2010. Reasons I Love my nook. I can read and eat at the same time, no book to hold, no pages to turn! I get free goodies, like Godiva chocolates when I visit Barnes and Noble. I can look up words I don't understand. I can check my email! It's smaller than a book, I can easily tote it around. Nook, where have you been all my life? Posted by Carrie at 2:01 PM. I have a first gen Kindle, but am wishing for one of the skinnier, prettier, newer versions! They are so shiny! PS I Love You.

Knit-Whit: The Week of Book Reviews
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2010/06/week-of-book-reviews.html
Sunday, June 20, 2010. The Week of Book Reviews. I've been given a task to review a few new knitting books and they've been sitting on my coffee table long enough so I'm going to knock them out this week. First on the list is One Ball Knits - Gifts. Without a long term plan. So I now have quite a collection of 'one skeins'. Toasty Toes Slippers, the slippers that are featured on the front of the book. Other patterns include: a pillow cover, place mats and napkin rings, baby blocks, gloves, socks and ...

Knit-Whit: Hello!
http://knit-whit.blogspot.com/2011/04/hello.html
Wednesday, April 20, 2011. I've been thinking about my knitting blog lately and how I've tossed it aside for quite a while. I don't want to get rid of it, where would all the info go if I did? I tend to keep my Ravelry. Page up do date so if you're not following me there already, come on over. My name there is smileshiner72. The website is such a good resource for all things knitting. I have been knitting a lot lately and I even have some finished objects. Pattern: Jelly Bums Monkey by Raynor Gellatly.
