Come to Ymuno – 1-3 July. June 8, 2011. I’ve never slept in a tent, or been to a festival. I have a feeling the former is going to be a horrible experience, but for the sake of the latter I am doing it a few times this year. There are some wonderful little festivals all over the UK with some putting on many exciting things for kids as well as the staple music show. Others just look simply lovely and luckily one of those is fairly close to me – Ymuno Festival. What more do you need? Byddaf gweld chi yno.

This next blog entry has taken me some time to write. This is in fact my third attempt, after a long break to reflect on the 2. Attempt and the 1. Attempt began as follows:. It’s my first night home alone. This is my home now. In London to Bristol by water. Asymp; Leave a comment. Luckilly when Bob was mooring up to wait for the lock to empty he looked down...

Qwerty Queen: August 2010
http://qwertyqueen.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 August 2010. So, from Friday at 8.30 am to Monday at 8.30 pm I was away at a festival. The website said there would be full wifi coverage, so I decided to blog from the festival, but in the event I couldn't get on the Internet for more than a couple of minutes at a time. So here's a rundown from very recent memory, using Carol's 'six senses' approach. Stalls advertising all kinds of food: Thai, Indian, a couple of. Three wasps buzzing around my breakfast plate. My eco-friendly wooden knife sn...

I promised, a few days ago, that I would do a separate post about the food I ate at Glastonbury. In some ways, this wasn't a great year to do it. Hot weather and a slightly dicey stomach meant I probably ate rather less than usual - in ordinary years, the net effect of being surrounded by amazing food stalls is that I have about five meals a day. I endeavoured to take a snap of everything I ate, but be warned! They really are snaps. Food photography is hard. I blame the kale. It was nice, but actuall...

Festival Season So Far. In Music and Life. Asymp; Leave a comment. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the festival season is in full swing! We started the year with Cosmic Puffin Fest. A cute little festival on Mersea Island… Having finished the album the night before I was a little worse for wear to say the least! The audience grew throughout our set, piling in and filling up our cute little tent till it was busting at the seams… We even got invited back next year! Then onto Colour Fest.

Wool, Waldorf and Wanderings. Welcome to my world. Newer posts →. August 8, 2013. Do you ever ask yourself why. For most of us it certainly isn’t out of necessity as it was for our parents or grandparents. We can hop into a car and buy a jumper for next to nothing with relative ease so why make one when it takes hours of precious time? But for me it is more than obtaining a flattering fit, or finding colours that suit. It is the a ct. We do not need to clothe our family the way we once did without having...
