It's life Jim...: Orchestra
http://meltonjohn.blogspot.com/2010/07/orchestra.html
Random ramblings - mostly Louise, rarely Simon. Thursday, 15 July 2010. I used to play my 'cello a lot. At school, all of my friends were musicians and we had a high old time going to orchestras, quartet practices, music camps and busking outside Waterstones together. We were all as obsessed as each other, and the County Youth concerts were the highlight of our year. No, it wasn't geeky - we were all just perfectly happily not mis-spending our youths. The Wymondham Symphony Orchestra! Almost Famous - my ...

It's life Jim...: Sports Day
http://meltonjohn.blogspot.com/2010/07/sports-day-first.html
Random ramblings - mostly Louise, rarely Simon. Monday, 19 July 2010. A couple of shots of Evie doing her stuff this morning. She was in The Egg and Spoon race, and The Obstacle race. I myself was in The Parents 3-Legged Race with Big Louise, and laughed 'til my face hurt. We also got Flo back from Latitude today; tired, dirty, not too smelly, very happy and wearing a pair of Elf ears. The Leavers' Disco, which must have seemed quite tame after her recent exploits.still wearing the Elf ears.

It's life Jim...: Last Day
http://meltonjohn.blogspot.com/2010/07/last-day.html
Random ramblings - mostly Louise, rarely Simon. Friday, 23 July 2010. It's been a very emotional day. I nearly burst with pride when the Headmaster presented Flo with an award for 'Outstanding Contribution to the School' at the Leavers' assembly this morning. He said that she was an absolute star, and would surely go on to great things. Then it was the frenzied signing of the shirts. Watch out High School, here they come. When I got home, there was a very sad text message waiting for me. Dean Spanley - n...

BENEDICT MAYER ILLUSTRATION: k'astajisaj / tzpa ri tikitajik
http://benedictmayer.blogspot.com/2011/10/kastajisaj-tzpa-ri-tikitajik.html
Thursday, 20 October 2011. K'astajisaj / tzpa ri tikitajik. K'astajisaj / tzpa ri tikitajik. To bring to life / since the beginning. K'astajisaj / tzpa ri tikitajik. In my interpretation I place myself, the artist, in the position of the various creations. Each piece of the triptych of linocuts represents one of the stages in the creation of man and mirrors the continuous and universal destruction and renewal of our selves as individual beings throughout life. It's life Jim...: January 2010
http://meltonjohn.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Random ramblings - mostly Louise, rarely Simon. Wednesday, 20 January 2010. We couldn't make a snowperson - it was the wrong kind of snow. But we jolly well tried, for absolutely ages. Daddy got a bit carried away, and went a snowball too far. It all ended in tears. E was utterly worn out and fell asleep in a tree. The kids were very patient. While the grown ups completely hogged the sledge. We were laughing so hard, we could hardly run. Wednesday, 13 January 2010. Older, Wiser.Sexier. 2 whole days off!

It's life Jim...: March 2010
http://meltonjohn.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Random ramblings - mostly Louise, rarely Simon. Wednesday, 3 March 2010. School of Rock' is the current obsession.how many times has she watched that film, pausing it on the rock history chalkboard scene, feverishly squinting at the blurry image and scribbling it down? The deal was one. Expensive present - nothing else. No trips to cinemas, restaurants, swimming pools, circuses, theatres etc. We stuck to the plan, but the grandma's didn't! Happy birthday dear Flossie xxx. Tuesday, 2 March 2010.

It's life Jim...: December 2009
http://meltonjohn.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Random ramblings - mostly Louise, rarely Simon. Sunday, 27 December 2009. I always read 'The Night Before Christmas' to the girls, after we have assembled the stockings, sorted out Father Christmas's snack and fed the reindeer. But as Si and I settle down for a long winter's nap, I read my favourite extract from 'The Pickwick Papers' to him. This," said Mr. Pickwick, looking round him - "this is, indeed, comfort.". Come," said Wardle, "a song - a Christmas song! Said Mr. Pickwick. Then The Masons turned ...

Thursday, 15 December 2011. This then was Blart's Decree:. I'm off to clock. Then to the step change. A pact or out. Or to the bout or. Stumble over intrigue or stonewalling. The bolstered and cabbage ear. Thickening edge of enclosure. One number collapses into. There oversight revision leaves. Estate fatally askew – plenty in this sport –. Talking about twelve bore responsibility. Itching for the scrap. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tom Raworth - NOTES. Egg Box / F.U.N.E.X. Presents.
