My Life, As Rx'd: May 2012
http://mylifeasrxd.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
My Life, As Rx'd. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Stuck in a Tunnel. Spartan Race - Stuck in a Tunnel. I went Austin this past weekend to run the Spartan Sprint with Fred (the same Fred that convinced me to run the half marathon – when will I learn? Here we go again. The loooooooong horrible tunnel. It was long, tight, hot, dry and did I mention long? I had to keep going. No matter how painful, no matter how much longer I had to go, I had to keep moving. Lately, I have felt stuck in a couple of life's tunnels and...

My Life, As Rx'd: August 2012
http://mylifeasrxd.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
My Life, As Rx'd. Friday, August 3, 2012. The other day my mom was telling me how my niece, Dailey has gotten so "brave" in the water, she will just run to the edge of the pool and "jump" in (really more like a walk off the edge), but without fear, smiling all the way, trusting that my mom, or someone will make sure she doesn't drown. I don't have a pic of her "jumping" but I LOVE this one as well. Look at the joy on her face! I put in my notice at work this week. It's been a "fun" ride with these ladies!

http://mylifeasrxd.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
My Life, As Rx'd. Monday, April 2, 2012. I often see signs like this:. However, in life - in reality - failure IS an option - when we try new things, push ourselves or are placed in previously unknown circumstances or challenges there is the great. Possibility that we WILL FAIL. It's not that we failed that's important - it's what we do after, how we respond to the failure that matters. This is what 175# FAILURE looks like:. Naturally we want to retreat, take a break or quit. we beat ourselves up, or...

My Life, As Rx'd. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Wait, but While you Wait, Do Something. As most of you know (and I say "most" like anyone actually reads this) anyway, as most of you know - my life changed pretty quickly the last several months and here I sit in a small coffee shop (not Starbucks), in a small town (not Tomball) adjusting to my "new" life as a wife to John Trimmer III. Ready for my soapbox? I am 32 years old and I "finally" got married (Praise the Lord). Going to come. And I was right. I realize...

My Life, As Rx'd: Paytyn's Army
http://mylifeasrxd.blogspot.com/2013/04/paytyns-army.html
My Life, As Rx'd. Friday, April 19, 2013. On May 19, 2013 Paytyn Squires was diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor called Pontine Glioma with drop metastases throughout his spinal cord. All I wanted to do was get on a plane, get to her as fast as I could and hug her and her little family tight! As much as I wanted/needed this lifelong friend of mine to be a part of "my" day, all I could think about from that moment on was how much more I wanted her little boy to be 100% better. This is a story of ...

Applicable ramblings shared here. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. I have been asked by many different and very gracious people to write guest blogs or pieces for various different things on various different topics.
