It's everywhere, you know. July 8, 2015. October 30, 2015. We had a nice relaxing holiday weekend. After (…not very) much debate we decided not to make the trek to the Mall for the fireworks. We’ve done that two. In a row now, and this year there was a forecast of rain. Not worth. :) Instead, on Saturday morning we went out for a late breakfast and coffee date! Since we were experienced National-Mall-fireworks-goers we learned from last year and brought a deck of cards. It's everywhere, you know. Here you can find my two previous blogs, as written while I was traveling away from home for extended periods of time. Both were amazing experiences! First, I spent a month in Italy. And then I lived in Washington DC. For four months while attending Gallaudet University. (DC was a novelty at the time, but of course now we’re living here. I wasn’t able to join him). We also took a Caribbean vacation with my family to the Virgin Islands. It's everywhere, you know.

They were landing every two or three minutes. Sometimes we could see the next plane coming in on the horizon before the current one had even touched down.
