Saturday, July 25, 2015. Say Ya To Da UP, Eh. Katie and I went to the UP for some camping. Mary decided not to go because she was scared of bugs (probably a good choice). V was not given a choice so she could do team gymnastics (again, probably a good choice). Here we are, about to cross the bridge. We're looking at you, trolls (those who live under the bridge). Here's where we stayed the first night. Notice the lack of fear. We went on the Pictured Rocks. Got some nice pictures. It's on Grand Island).

Monday, July 06, 2015. Made it to KL. Lindsay's room has an AWESOME view of the towers. We went to lunch and there was chicken that was black. Of course I had to try it. It was sweet and spicy and delicious! We went swimming after walking around for a bit. Turns out traveling for 24 hours is hard work! Wednesday, July 08, 2015. We went to FRIM. Saw lots of cool plants. This tree actually has a parasite growing on it and is two trees. We hiked. At the end Uncle Jack called the hike elder abuse. It was not easy. But there was a cool tree canopy. The guide said the trees may produce a chemical similar to juglone that prevents them from touching. This is a native house that is over 100 years old. The cool plants are called lipstick palms. Then we went to Batu Caves. There was a hungry dog.

It was as if I had paid $30 for an infomercial on the place! She won. I had to check it out. The teacher talked all about the native plants garden. And how great it was.
