It’s one piece per day, for the entire month of June. (“One piece,” meaning 300-500 words that tell a complete, albeit miniature, story.). The only thing is, unlike the 30-day ab challenge or 30-day squat challenge, I forgot to build in “rest” days. Oops.). That takes place in a car. In the form of a monologue. Set in the summer.

Much to be said about this awards season but I have said little. That said, and having seen all of the nominees in usual fashion, here are my predictions and opinions. Winner – Get a Horse! My Vote – Possessions. This year had a decent selection of animated shorts and the Japanese short Possessions stole my heart from the group. Get a Horse! Winner – Helium.
