No Hell In Helsinki. Goodbyes are always hard. Inmiddels ben ik weer thuis, en schrijf ik deze blogpost vanaf mijn keukentafel in Beuningen. De bijna 5 maanden in Helsinki zijn werkelijk voorbij gevlogen. Ik had me erop voorbereid dat het snel zou gaan maar het is nog veel sneller gegaan dan dat ik me ooit had kunnen bedenken. Te veel had. Op het vliegveld kwam ik er echter tot mijn grote opluchting achter dat ik zelfs nog 4 kilo over had. Stress om niks dus! This is no goodbye! 31 mei 2015 om 21:29.

No Hell In Helsinki. Vappu (May Day Celebration ’15)! Dé week in Finland waarin iedereen zich even helemaal laat gaan. De normaal toch wel vrij introverte Finnen herken je in deze week niet meer terug. Zoals ze zelf aangeven; “Dit is eigenlijk het enige echte uitbundige vrolijke feest wat hier hebben.” Dat moet dus groots gevierd worden! Vappu kan je dan ook op geen enkele mogelijkheid zijn ontgaan hier in Finland. Mijn super vol gestempelde pas! Een kleine greep uit de activiteiten:. 8221; Goede vraag!
