Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Shopping in the Snowy Streets. Today I went shopping in the streets of Canterbury as it continued to snow lightly. Now I am sitting cozily on the couch in my favorite Starbucks avoiding the cold walk back to my room and decided to share some pictures from the day. I found so many great things today in my shopping adventure. One of the best finds was another amazing bookstore! December 1, 2010 at 7:00 PM. The snow mixed with those old English buildings is gorgeous!

Thursday, September 30, 2010. I am nearing the end of my first week of classes and so far it has been very intriguing. I only have 6 hours of class a week because classes here are usually based more on independent work, but I am not used to that, so it just feels like I have a lot of free time, which is pretty nice. From San Diego to Spain. And everything else in between. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. I had a date this weekend. I went to Italy. Suuuch a bummer, I know :). I didn’t want to do the whole tourist-y thing so I went to a couple smaller cities along the southern coast called Salerno and Positano. It was an amazing trip AND it was complete with the most wonderful date. He’s my best friend, and I just love him. Do you know him? My precious Jesus.and not talk. And, I most definitely did not have to ask Him twice.

Thursday, October 14, 2010. Barcelona: Tapas, Mercat and Bacallà. This past weekend, I went to Barcelona, Spain with. We saw many works of the Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi, throughout the city. My favorite was the Sagrada Familia, which is a catholic church which has been under construction since 1882. Even though construction has taken well over a hundred years, it still has about 20 more years to go. Of course, we had tapas, many small plates of food making up a whole meal.
