Nolte's South of the Border. Sunday, July 18, 2010. We celebrated Independence Day with other couple missionaries at the 16th Century Monastery "Desierto de los leones" Here are a few pictures! Happy Fourth of July! We made about 50 deviled eggs! All the food was wonderful and delicious! A little hike to a couple of hermitages nearby. Walking up to the roof! We had a great day! Nolte's South of the Border. Thursday, September 16, 2010. When last we wrote, we were celebrating Independence Day for the USA. Now we’ve been celebrating Mexico’s Independence. Last Friday, we celebrated with Benemerito and the Zarahemla Stake. Last night we celebrated with the Arbolillo Stake. In both cases, there was a lot of traditional dancing and music. And lots of traditional food! Love all the friendly people! The Tacos Pastoral were the most popular! There’s much work to do. We need more space!

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. We celebrated Luke's 6th birthday at Temple Square, where we enjoyed both the temple AND the sprinkler systems. If you need to know where any of the shut-off valves are, ask Luke. Afterwards, we headed to Nana and Papa's, where we had a great party and the funnest week we've had in a long time! Glen and Luke's Project. The excitement over this sprinkler project got Luke up before 7 each day, and also increased his love for Teflon tape in a big way. Nolte Reunion in San Diego.

L&L learned to wash a car. Legos, Legos, and more Legos. Luke's training wheels were removed. Our pomegranates are ripe and taste best when laying on the kitchen counter. Luke lost a tooth.
