Shared by straight point. On Friday, August 17, 2012. While everybody is taking sides either with kp or ecb. one thing with which everyone seems to agree is that the kp-gate could have been managed better.behind closed doors.sans selective leaks. Since kp-gate is flooded with inane articles.for.against.i don't want to waste much time in adding my two cents. This is where strauss and ecb have failed in my view. He is a character.he can be a drama queen.he can be all this and that. But he can bowl. He is w...

http://eye-on-cricket.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
The world of cricket, as seen from Brooklyn. Friday, March 31, 2006. A disturbing little sidestory to the second one-day international, reported in the Guardian. Which included this note:. And Prithviraj Hegde angrily blogs about it. IT'S ON TV ANYWAY". Posted by Samir Chopra at 8:18 PM. Links to this post. PS: And I wonder if Dhoni's new-found cautious style is in response to the Mumbai meltdown? Posted by Samir Chopra at 6:02 PM. Links to this post. Thursday, March 30, 2006. But not all memories associ...

http://straightpoints.blogspot.com/2011/07/please-save-my-blog.html
Please save my blog. Shared by straight point. On Sunday, July 17, 2011. I have never played competitive cricket beyond club level. in my school and college days i used to be a decent opener and reasonable off spinner. I have never seen test cricket live from the ground. not even an one day international. just couple of first class games and some ipl games. I don't even know if i can even bowl a decent bowl at international level. or even face a worst international bowler. But i do dare to blog on cricket.

sharing some simple but STRAIGHT POINTS...: is dhoni getting exposed...?
http://straightpoints.blogspot.com/2011/08/is-dhoni-getting-exposed.html
Is dhoni getting exposed? Shared by straight point. On Monday, August 08, 2011. Dhoni, the captain, has every trophy in his cupboard that can make any captain envious. In one day cricket he is undisputed king and one of the most valuable batsman. But when it comes to tests. the doubts start to creep in. with his keeping. and batting. Dhoni wicket keeping of late is almost everything that has made kamran akmal the butt of all jokes. It screws our slip cordon is one side-effect. One can clearly see the cla...

authorblog: The King And I
http://david-mcmahon.blogspot.com/2011/07/king-and-i.html
Monday, July 04, 2011. The King And I. One day Elvis was in the shop window - then he was gone. There's this beautiful white building in South Melbourne that is more than a century old. It has huge old-fashioned windows, a door that opens on the street corner, and a high turret at the apex of the V-shaped building. And about a week ago I noticed that one of the mannequins in the window was dressed like Elvis Presley. As a good friend of mine quipped, Elvis had well and truly left the building. Might be b...

Friday, December 03, 2010. So complex was the nature of the ecclesiastical riddle. That it completely flummoxed old Archbishop Siddle. He consulted the scripts and staked out the priory. His mood was somber but his language quite fiery. I really missed seeing these when you were taking your break. So glad youre back. Some say a load of piddle. Some love to shout. And some wonder what it is all about. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It Ain't Hollow, So They Follow (Thank you Mercury and Apollo! Lissa ...

Doesn't everyone read the sports page first? The great healing at Perth that followed the great divide at Sydney. The great healing at Perth that followed the great divide at Sydney. November 10, 2016. November 10, 2016. The WACA at Perth is closing down. Major matches will soon be shifted to the newly minted Perth stadium in a couple of years. In this scintillating piece by Gideon Haigh, one of the best writers the game has seen. Was the stand-out moment of the match. Then came a match that many Indian ...

http://david-mcmahon.blogspot.com/2011/05/try-picking-my-most-popular-shot.html
Sunday, May 15, 2011. Try picking my most popular shot. Some of my blog friends would remember this unusual image, shot while I stood mid-stride (yep - the things we do for art! Across a pedestrian crossing on a September afternoon in 2008 in Whitehorse, capital of Canada's gold rush Yukon region. Site You'll see square thumbnails of my most-visited images, all on a single screen. When you've had a look, let me know what you think. But if you're wondering about the answer, this. Great to see you again!
