My Journey: March 2009
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. A typical Sunday in our house. I get to sleep late Sunday morning because Saturday night is first wife's night, Sunday morning #2 goes to church and Sunday School with the grandbabies, and I like to give #1 and hubby some alone time before I wake up and get going, since Sunday is my day (in our godforsaken new schedule) I know I'm going to be spending alot of time with him. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Writing, yoga and other things. Oil painting - I don't think oil is my medium!

My Journey: December 2008
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. A trilogy of haiku for Christmas.I hope you enjoy. Smiles and laughter fill the air. Small children and joy. Bring memories of the good times. Bright and shiney times. Shared with loved ones and best friends. I have always had ambivalent feelings toward Christmas.I love it and I hate it all at once.I have to say though, Hubby makes a wonderful Christmas, unlike some other men I've known, he is really in to the preparations which makes it a whole lot easier for everyone! This i...

My Journey: The rest of the year.........
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2013/08/selfish-musings-on-seasons.html
Thursday, August 15, 2013. The rest of the year. Keep Halloween please; as well as that other fall holiday, Thanksgiving. Halloween because after the kids in your life are 9 years old it's just a bother. Make that 7. Thanksgiving because while I love the food spread associated with it. What's the point really? No one that I know has ever been truly thankful. They just say they are. And then there's the fact that fall leads to winter very rapidly. Humbug. Easter. The holiest holiday in the Christian c...

My Journey: The Reason for The Season
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-reason-for-season.html
Saturday, December 21, 2013. The Reason for The Season. Every year it seems the debate over "Merry Christmas" seems to grow and grow. Do we say Merry Christmas to everyone? Should Merry Christmas be written or said in various situations. Doesn't Happy Holidays make so much more sense? After all not everyone celebrates Christmas. . and so on and so forth. Town Squares may have a Christmas tree and a Mennorah and Kwanza candles now-a-days. However, put out a creche and watch the rumble. Seriously? No If th...

My Journey: November 2008
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 20, 2008. In other words, no concrete answer. The young man with the new girlfriend says things like he just can't imagine loving more than one person. So why do they reject how we live? This is something that weighs on hubby's mind. I think he worries that somehow they have been unhappy with his and his first wife's decision to have a plural marriage. Do we seem unhappy to them? Someone else makes sure the bills are all paid. It's really nice that I don't have to worry about that.

My Journey: I am trying out Gray/Grey
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2013/09/i-am-trying-out-graygrey.html
Sunday, September 22, 2013. I am trying out Gray/Grey. Why did I stop highlights etc you ask? Well dear friends who are interested in polygamy, my sisterwives at the time didn't have as much income as I had and could not afford to go to a stylist on a regular basis. I was encouraged to do as they did and make do with inexpensive home coloring. What can I say? I'm a jerk sometimes. Oh, did I mention that boob I was in a plural marriage with keeps trying to contact me? I'll leave that for another post.

My Journey: August 2008
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Religion In Our House For Those That Are Interested. Hubby is of no particular faith. He was born in to some Protestant religion but his family was not religious. He once studied briefly to be a Methodist minister but decided against it. He believes in God, but will not go to church. Period. 1 is a Southern Baptist and attends services semi-regularly. That my friends is what I tried to say in my brief introduction. I call us secular polygamists because we are not a plural fa...

My Journey: April 2009
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 17, 2009. A learning experience for all of us. I think I shall write books, and get rich and famous; that would suit me, so that is my favorite dream. I'm loving the quote of the day on my blog! As a child Louisa May Alcott was my favorite author and a heroine to me. I completely wore out my copy of Little Women! I saw myself as her.writing books and becoming rich and famous. Can you imagine that? Instead I blog lol. Saturday, April 11, 2009. Easter Here and There. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

My Journey: June 2009
http://journeyinpluralmarriage.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. Selfish Self-Centered Decisions and Feelings Breast Cancer Issues in Polygamy. It feels like it's been a long time since I've written here. I know it hasn't been long. What's been happening is I could write something everyday but I don't want to over do it and bore everyone who reads. I don't want anyone to feel slighted or lonely. At the same time I selfishly want more of him. I want this situation to bring Hubby and I closer the way it might if we were monogamous - withou...Here'...
