In class we established the significance of prom being a ritual celebrating the stepping stone for maturity from adolescence to adulthood. Bianca pointed out that this ritual is not one way, that adults revisit their prom to feel young again , this however is not common practice. This is considered pathetic, but why? Is it simply that the tradition is set in stone? That wealth is clean or somehow less sinful? Enter your comment here.
