A little quilting, reading, and an occasional cookie. Monday, June 29, 2015. Life is just a bowl of cherries. This summer is all upside down for us because it's continuing to march on but we feel like we're missing it. We're busy and tired and in a state of confusion in this house. So when the opportunity to return to South Haven to have dinner with friends came up, we took it, and decided to pick cherries while we were there in orchard country. But now, what to do with ten pounds of sweet cherries?

Ghost story, certainly. Coming of age, yes. Historical, yes, there’s some of that, too. Mystery. Oh, and environmental. They've done everything on their to-do list and no matter what Elizabeth chose, Adelaide said no. Adelaide choose? Elizabeth said no. Grandma pulled out the rainy day activity she's been saving. We're going to make gourd birdhouses. I showed them how to run the sander and they did it themselves, smoothing off the dried up gunky stuff from their gourds. Time to get away from little sis...
