The World Through the Eyes of Tomorrow's Top Animator. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Sometimes being a freelance magazine writer has some perks beyond equal. Today I was invited to the "Fly Me to the Moon" premiere in New York, a film about houseflies in 1969 that stowaway in the Apollo 11 spacecraft. The film might be called "groundbreaking" for being the first animated film produced specifically for 3D viewing. Here I am meeting THE Buzz Aldrin. Look below. See that right hand? That's the hand I shook.
