I am also so sorry for the adoptive parents who, undoubtedly, must have felt so helpless and hopeless. No adoptive parent adopts a child with the intent of sending that child away to be sexually abused. I would say for the most part, adoptive parents adopt out of a deep longing to help a child. I have said before, and will say again.
