http://sea-steppil-farm.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
SEA STEPPIL FARM. FARM, STEPPIL, FARM! Sunday, April 27, 2014. It Must Have Been Quite the Party. The Plain of Jars ranks alongside Stonehenge in the annals of how the hell did they do that without cranes? There are simply some places that feel sacred, and this is one. Friday, April 25, 2014. The World's Most Heavily Bombed Nation. In 580,000 bombing missions. In an attempt to disrupt the North Vietnamese supply train. Thats the equivalent of one planeload every 8 minutes, 24 hours a day, for 9 years.

This week, I got to join in the process while in Luang Prabang and learn how to weave silk- just like the Lao women, who start weaving at age 10! After that, it was straight to work! Day 2, af...

Sunday, 28 February 2016. Tailoring in Hoi An, Vietnam. Hoi An is famous for its tailors. It's where all sorts of people go to get high end suits made. I had my favourite shorts copied early in my Asia trip, shortly before they fell apart, and I didn't expect to want anything else. My only remaining complaint is my fault - I wanted the belt to be sides only, and end at the back princess seams, but I didn't mention it so I got a real belt. The girl who did my measurements really drove home that my main is...

Talleres de Encuadernación, Bordado y Crochet. Vietnam, el bordado y el agente naranja. Marzo 31, 2014. Abril 16, 2016. No...

View of river close to sunset.
