Just to introduce myself - I was born in Hobart (when dinosaurs roamed the Earth). I've lived in other states, but returned home to raise my children. Following an Art Course, and then a 4 year TAFE course, I settled into selling my work at Hobart's Salamanca Market. I also found a co-operative "Off Centre Gallery". I have given up the market now but still love the shop, especially as it gives me a chance to meet both local, interstate and the many overseas visitors that come through. Ph (03) 6224 8075.

Born in Hungary, I came to Australia as a refugee emigrant. After 25 years as a designer, dressmaker I enrolled in 1994 at The Centre for Arts at the University of Tasmania. Here I discovered ceramics and instantly fell in love with it. I completed my degrees - Bachelor of Fine Art and Masters of Fine Art and Design in 2001 and have exhibited widely since, in solo exhibitions and numerous group shows in Tasmania and interstate. Lisa obtained a degree in geology and environmental science and 20 years later a degree in interior architecture. Lisa's love of the natural world found her immersed in environmental work for the next 30 years with pottery being the escape from the real world. Lisa has spent the last 10 years working in Queensland as an award winning interior designer specializing in sustainable design and as a guest lecturer in sustainable interiors at QUT and for the Green Building Council of Australia.
