Midlife Singlemum: Anti-Vaxxers Shocked And Devastated
http://midlifesinglemum.blogspot.com/2015/06/anti-vaxxers-shocked-and-devastated.html
Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Anti-Vaxxers Shocked And Devastated. Spain has its first case of diphtheria in 28 years. A six year old boy in Catalan has come down with this potentially fatal desease after his parents chose not to vaccinate him or his sister. The article states that the family is devastated. Obviously. Who would not be devastated with their son in intensive care with a potentially fatal desease. I, like every other parent I know, took to the internest and read everything I could about the val...

Thursday, September 20, 2012. It's Not My Fault I'm Childless. I've just read an interesting article in the Daily Mail Online called: I'ts not my fault that I missed the chance to become a mother. Click on the link to read the article.) I wanted to leave a comment after the article but there were already nearly 200 comments and what I have to say, well, I want to say it publicly and I want it read. Midlife Singlemum: Death Came Home Unexpectedly
http://midlifesinglemum.blogspot.com/2012/08/death-came-home-unexpectedly.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Death Came Home Unexpectedly. Last week I chose a book called Nana Upstairs and Nana Downstairs by Tomie dePaola (G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York, 1998) . DD wasn't particularly interested in it so we didn't read it at the library first. I thought it looked sweet though and it had about the right text to picture ratio. So I included it in the borrow pile and we brought it home. But then I thought, why should I need to avoid it? Tommy has a good cry and asks if she will ever come ...

Bright Side of Life!: January 2015
http://brightsideoflifeasd.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2015. The world of a special needs mother. I sit on the peripheral, glancing at the time displayed on my phone. It all comes down to time. Every precious second of it. Time is dictated by my child. Time revolves around him. It's not his fault. It is not mine. My personal window of time is limited. I can make a plan for extra time. A little pocket of an extra hour, or two, or three. But time always pulls me back in. Back to my child. It's not his fault. It is not mine. It is not mine.

Midlife Singlemum: A Country In Fancy Dress - Except One
http://midlifesinglemum.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-country-in-fancy-dress-except-one.html
Tuesday, March 3, 2015. A Country In Fancy Dress - Except One. Even adults join in the fun. Today is the day when the whole country dresses up in costume. It's the last day of school before the Purim holiday. Of course the real days of Purim are on Thursday and Friday when there will be more dressing up but today all the schools have half day and it's one big costume party. Imagine if you did Halloween at school the same as the last day of the Christmas term - that. This was our costume fight last year.

JazzyVille: Reasons to be Cheerful - Thinking Positively
http://www.jazzyville.com/2016/08/reasons-to-be-cheerful-thinking.html
Reasons to be Cheerful - Thinking Positively. Saturday, August 20, 2016. It was a chest infection, that re-ignited my dreaded and incessant asthmatic cough from hell. Which I believe also led to a very painful toothache. all that bone-rattling, body-heaving coughing I reckon! Which made taking my inhaler and a dentist trip quite impossible. Oh, I was quite the disaster zone. Yet this brings me to my reasons to be cheerful this week. Yes, being unwell gave me reasons to be cheerful! Then again, it is a sk...
