Baby Theo's Birth Story - Part 2! First, let me just say. my son hates pictures:. Well I still think he's adorable. Alrighty, where were we? Last I remember, I had just gotten my epidural and was in sweet, sweet heaven. The medical team was still a little concerned so they put an internal monitor on Theo to keep an eye on the little bugger. Then, I went back to sleep. Running around the tables in the waiting room. We knew it was SHOWTIME! I pushed and pushed and pushed for about 40 minutes. I pushed ...

http://www.latenightsandlattes.com/2015/03/workin-mom-with-5-month-old.html
Workin' Mom with a 5 Month Old! Well, I have been officially back to work for the past 3 weeks. and it is rough! The Sunday before I started school I pretty much just sat on the couch, cried, and held Theo. tight! It was so, so hard. I only see him for a couple hours each night before he goes to sleep and it makes me SO sad, but such is life. Soon enough, it will be April vacation and then it will be summer before I know it! That's what I keep telling myself at least. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

That is what I feel right now. See that big ole belly up there? It hurts my back and makes my days seem veryyyyyy long. But on the bright side, I am counting down the weeks! My long term sub should be starting next week, which means I will be lucky enough to have her in the classroom with me for the next couple weeks before my leave starts. Having her in the room AND my awesome para full-time should be a really big help! Especially as the weeks continue. We are ready for his arrival! In the meantime wish...

Late Nights & Lattes: I've been a mom for 6 months...
http://www.latenightsandlattes.com/2015/04/ive-been-mom-for-6-months.html
I've been a mom for 6 months. Okay, six months is heaven. Sleeping through the night, giggling and smiling, babbling, sitting. He's just SO happy all the time. That above picture was taken a couple hours after his 6 month shots for crying outloud! Those sleepless nights and breastfeeding woes already seem LIGHTYEARS away! Maybe it's time for another baby. Ha ha ha. Just kidding! We are loving our time with our one perfect baby. I also can't wait to have my own kitchen to cook again! The Small Things Blog.

Late Nights & Lattes: December 2014
http://www.latenightsandlattes.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
The holidays are just so much more fun with a child. Theo won't remember his first Christmas and he didn't get a whole lot of gifts (as he doesn't need much at this point), but we will remember it with happy hearts. He has made our life so full. One look at his smiling little face just lights up my day. I think he may have that effect on a few others around here too ;). I hope you all had a very, merry Christmas and enjoyed the fun with friends and family. Grow, Theo, grow! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Late Nights & Lattes: February 2015
http://www.latenightsandlattes.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
I am the proud mother of a child who does not sleep. He naps. occasionally. but sleep. at night? My boy likes to be awake or cuddled in momma's arms all night every night. It is both sweet and sad and exhausting all at the same time. As you know, our sweet boy has eczema and in the past weeks it has spread all over his body. He itches and scratches all day and night and we have been snowed out of 2 dermatologist appointments so far. We are finally. Here is Theo's 4 month update:. The Small Things Blog.

Late Nights & Lattes: Edamame & Chickpea Salad
http://www.latenightsandlattes.com/2015/06/edamame-chickpea-salad.html
Edamame and Chickpea Salad. I loveeeee a good salad and I was getting a little tired of the same old spinach, avocado, cucumber, mushroom and tomato goodness I always eat so I thought I would switch it up! I recently bought Joseph's chickpea salad. On a whim because it looked delicious and it was. I quickly realized that I could easily make a similar salad myself. This is a "throw it all together and enjoy" type of deal which is my favorite:. 1 can of chickpeas - drained and rinsed. The Small Things Blog.
