Oh, the Books! Bookish Thoughts: Leaving Books Behind Sucks! I am back with another somewhat obvious declaration (if you missed my previous one, I announced that I hate it when I don’t like a book. Leaving books behind sucks! I just moved back to the States a few days ago after spending a year-and-a-half abroad in the UK, and no joke, one of the hardest things I had to do was decide which books I would take with me back to the States. It was. Which do I take? Which do I leave behind? 8221; But noooo!

Angela's Anxious Life: Comic Adventures Issue #21
http://angelasanxiouslife.blogspot.com/2015/04/comic-adventures-issue-21.html
Comic Adventures Issue #21. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. I read a lot of comics and rarely review them here on the blog. That's because I really don't have a lot to say for an entire post. So I thought I would review several comics on one post. I will still review graphic novels on their own now and then, but this is where I will talk about super-hero type comics (DC/Marvel) or sequels to some that I have already reviewed. In this issue I talk about the Final Jack of Fables Vol 9 The End. Green Arrow Vol 2.

Books I’ve Read. Events I’ve Attended. Category: Book Reviews -. Book Review: Coco and the Little Black Dress by Annemarie van Haeringen. This petite tome is a charming take on the life of famous French fashion designer Coco Chanel. The illustrations are minimalist and every bit as fashionable and chic as the subject matter would warrant. The sentences were short- as is typical of children's books- but I felt some of the words used were more difficult than appropriate for…. August 31, 2015. Page 1 of 6.

How BitterSweet It Is
Monday, February 24, 2014. I didn't know what else to title this post. It didn't require much thought. These numbers were just the only things that came to mind. Both mean something to me, yet neither defines me. Thank God. And maybe if you know me, or my awesome husband, you might already know exactly what these numbers stand for. But if not, I'm thankful that you're reading. And maybe, just maybe, I pray that it might even be just an ounce of encouragement to someone reading. So this number: 5. The num...

Oh, the Books! Audiobook Review: Unforgotten by Jessica Brody. My Thoughts First of all, I can't believe how long it took me to get to this book, and then I didn't even read the hardcover I won from Jessica Brody herself! I went for the audiobook instead, because I knew I'd be able to listen to that much sooner, and I'm glad I did. The narrator, Julia Whelan, is one of my favorites - so, total thumbs up to the audiobook version of Unforgotten! August 10, 2015. Weekly Recap Aug 2-8, 2015. August 9, 2015.
