From ‘skipping’ to foraging. May 8, 2010 · Filed under Uncategorized. During my time here in York I came accross the concept of ‘skipping’ for food. Many food stores throw away food that is perfectly good to eat, it’s such a waste! I hate the waste but I discovered that skipping is illegal! We don’t currently have the resources to be able to ask stores for the food so that we can distribute it to those who need it but I hope to do that in 2011, when we have a building we can use as a base! A bit of earth.
