November 30, 2010 · Filed under Uncategorized. 1 Whole poem is in iambic hexameter. 2 Miserable and mayhem – alliteration. 3 Escape and fate – assonance. 4 “No choice but to fail” (lines 3 and 4) – anaphora. 5 Tests and rests – end rhyme. 6 Invasions of my mind (lines 5 and 6) – anaphora. 7 Inside and subside – end rhyme. 8 Inside and subside masculine rhyme. 9 One and sun feminine rhyme. 10 The whole poem is a Tragedy. The shadows of long past dead. Are invading the depths in my head. 1 Response so far.
