Spencer.Valerie.McKay.Dallin.Ethan.Ava. Saturday, March 24, 2012. And that, my friends, was a Road Trip! Wednesday, March 14, 2012. We are enjoying a beautiful Spring! Rainy days, 80 degree days (and a few really windy days, of course). We loved having Grandma Kristi come spend a little time with us! Of course we went to POPS and had some yummy hamburgers! Gavin and Brooke came out for a day and we loved meeting her and spending the day with them! We showed them the Round Barn. I think he's in love!

Spencer.Valerie.McKay.Dallin.Ethan.Ava. Sunday, August 19, 2012. August 19, 2005 was a special day! Seven years ago, on a rainy Friday night, McKay Knight Stuart was born. Dr. Coss had to miss the Blue and White scrimmage to be there (and his son was playing). I'll never forget as the nurse gave him a bath and washed his blonde hair I thought I was going to melt! I was in awe of him. I still am. Seven Reasons why McKay is so special:. 1 He has sparkling blue eyes! A delicious chocolate cupcake for the bi...

Spencer.Valerie.McKay.Dallin.Ethan.Ava. Monday, June 25, 2012. First Day of Summer! We had one of those perfect days on June 21st. A day I just enjoyed so much. It was cloudy when we woke up with a 20% chance of rain the weather forecast said. I had heard of peaches in an orchard (supposedly 45 minutes away). I called some friends and we decided to take a picnic and go exploring. Just as we were supposed to meet at my house it started pouring rain! Isn't this the most beautiful thing! Ethan always seems ...

Emily in Wonderland: Dinnertime
http://emily-in-wonderland.blogspot.com/2009/01/dinnertime.html
Things keep getting curiouser and curiouser. Thursday, January 29, 2009. My friend was telling me the other day that she hates to cook. I don't relate but I understand. Then she said something to the effect that it's not the cooking she hates really, it's the planning, the deciding what to make, etc. She asked me what we have for dinner regularly at our house. Turkey meatloaf (forget everything you think about meatloaf, mine. Pork chops (one good recipe. Dinner in a pumpkin. Asian wraps ( recipe. I'm esp...

Emily in Wonderland: Celebrity Crushes - 4th Edition
http://emily-in-wonderland.blogspot.com/2011/04/celebrity-crushes-3rd-edition.html
Things keep getting curiouser and curiouser. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Celebrity Crushes - 4th Edition. It's time for another edition of Celebrity Crushes. As you know, these are highly influenced by the shows I'm currently following and often the character the actor plays in the show. My biggest weakness is for a great smile and my second is for great hair (usually curly or wavy). Here's something you won't usually see on my crush list, a blond:. I love his character on The Mentalist. Feisty foodie fre...

Things keep getting curiouser and curiouser. Saturday, April 28, 2007. 49- Yesterday when I went to get a haircut, while my stylist was washing my hair she said, "I see your going thru the post-pregnancy shedding period." Yup, I'm losing hair. 48- I got a clogged milk duct yesterday - ouch. 47- Brandon and I spent almost 3 months of 1998 in Nepal. 46- I've loved curries ever since; Nepali, Indian, Thai, Japanese. 45- I don't eat to live, I live to eat. 43- I failed a test. 38- I tried surfing once. 30- I...

Emily in Wonderland: The Best Movies You've Never Seen
http://emily-in-wonderland.blogspot.com/2006/07/best-movies-youve-never-seen.html
Things keep getting curiouser and curiouser. Tuesday, July 18, 2006. The Best Movies You've Never Seen. If you love the 1995 BBC Pride and Prejudice, you'll love this too. I actually like this even more! Originally a made for TV movie series. It's 7 hours long and fun every minute. No, the acting isn't the best and the trolls are ridiculous, but I guarantee that you'll laugh, a lot. Magical. Kate Beckensdale and Ian McLellan (sp? Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Do you like leprechauns? Movie (starrin...

Emily in Wonderland: Last Week
http://emily-in-wonderland.blogspot.com/2013/10/last-week.html
Things keep getting curiouser and curiouser. Wednesday, October 09, 2013. I know I've hardly blogged in the past 13 months and I'm not sure if I'm going to start doing it regularly again, but I have the urge to right now, so I might as well. Sunday, Sept. 29th. That evening we left the kids with a babysitter and went to our friend Kim's birthday party. No housekeeping was done. I spent a bunch of time organizing the kids art and school supply corner though. I'm an idiot. Picked the kids up from Linda....

Marathon Mom: Yarn love
http://mommahutch.blogspot.com/2012/01/yarn-love.html
Thursday, January 12, 2012. I'll admit it: when my 7-year-old asked me to make her a doll blanket, and I allowed her to pick the yard, I hated her choice. I thought it was ugly (truth be told). But, keeping to my word, I allowed her to purchase it, and I set out to make her a blanket for her doll. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. People who ♥ me. Marathon Mom: March 2011
http://mommahutch.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I booked non-refundable tickets to Hawaii this week. In celebration, I decided to make me something to wear that felt like the islands. I started with two more sadly gray/formerly white items: a blouse that I got years ago at the Gap, and loved so much I couldn't bear to throw it out. . . besides the fact it isn't even white any more; and an old tee. I choose a lovely blue - Bahama Blue - from Hobby Lobby. You can see my $3 investment - that's all I spent for this refashion.
