Since 2001, a broad-based coalition of more than 20 organizations has worked collaboratively to identify key health care workforce concerns and to develop short and long-term strategies to alleviate Oklahoma’s health care worker shortages. In November 2006, the OHCWC was created by SB 1394 to accomplish the following:. Collect data and analyze health care worker supply and demand trends;.
