Omlands Storfe - Litt om gårdsdriften
På Langåker driver vi i dag med kjøttfe og ammekyr under navnet Omlands Storfe. Vi har valgt å satse på rasen Limousin. Og teller jevnt mellom 20 - 25 dyr. Til gården har vi 150 mål, hvorav 40 mål dyrket mark. I tillegg har vi noe leiejord. Stutekalver og kvigekalver fores opp for slakt, men vi selger også livdyr ved alder 6 - 7 mnd. I tillegg driver vi smått med oppdrett av rasefjørfe. Både av dverg og stor rase. Vi har også avl av dvergkaniner.
