Onslow and Miss B: March 2014
http://onslowandmissb.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Onslow and Miss B. Gardening and other adventures in sub-tropical Brisbane. Saturday, 1 March 2014. After travelling north to visit the reef, my UK visitor Jayne and I split up briefly in November. She headed for the bright lights of Sydney, while I got stuck into a big freelance project with a rapidly approaching deadline. I love the soft colour palette and the cottage style planting. The stars of the show on this visit were the fuchsias, roses, and pelargoniums. Pelargoniums, roses, and lavender. I'm p...

Onslow and Miss B. Gardening and other adventures in sub-tropical Brisbane. Saturday, 4 May 2013. Visitors at Chez Bella. I'll start this post with an apology. What follows are some terrible photos of gorgeous subjects. We are drawing closer to the start of winter here in Brisbane, though the days are gloriously sunny and the day- time temperatures still warm. There is a little less flowering in the garden at the moment, but this is more than compensated by some of the visitors to the garden. I'm not 100...

Onslow and Miss B. Gardening and other adventures in sub-tropical Brisbane. Saturday, 15 June 2013. Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day June 2013. It's hard to believe that it is more than a month since my last post and that I missed May Garden Bloggers Bloom Day completely. However, I am slowly making inroads trying to get the house in order and catch up with study for a short course I have enrolled in. Afternoon light throught the cordylines. http://www.lucysinthegarden.com/2012/05/my-favorite-color-combination.html
Lucy's in the Garden. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. My Favorite Color Combination. I just love cobalt blue in the garden. I especially like blue and shades of yellow. One of my favorite color combinations at the moment is my bottle tree along with Black Eyed Susan vine. I planted a few seeds at the base of the bottle tree, and then watched as the vine slowly twisted around the bottles. Here are a few photos of how that bed looks today. Here we see my bottle tree with Black Eyed Susan. 8230;and Black-eyed Susans.
