Then this last one I’m not sure about. She lo...

At the drawing board… | Building your own home

Building your own home. At the drawing board…. October 21, 2015. Some months ago all the designing began. After looking at MANY plans from catalog books and websites like this one. The late nights of drawing and questions began. Where should the stairs be placed? How big is the master bathroom and bedroom? Will we do an island or peninsula in the kitchen? How about a screened in porch? As we drew the floor plan of the house 3 main goals were kept in mind. Will this help for resale? I must stay focused!

Building your own home. November 6, 2015. The last week in our old home was so bitter-sweet. We had a fire and pizza and thought of all the memories. Josh and I cleaned like mad. After signing my name too many times to count, the lot was ours! It finally felt like we are doing this. It’s no longer far out in the future, but right on front of us! Now for the good stuff -digging and clearing trees! It is so exciting to watch this clump of trees become a place for our home! Adelyn is no exception! Create a ...

Back on May 1st, I did my gluten free grain reintroduction. Here was my experience! Nothing to report here. Chipotle salad with white rice, steak, tomato, green chile, and red chile salsas. On the Journey

Friday, November 16, 2012. It seemed like just another beautiful day that afternoon when my cell phone showed a call coming in from my son-in-law, Sean. I need your help." The apprehension in his voice was heard above the road noise in the van as I was driving home from an appointment. Sean, weakly, "I can't find Jack," his and our daughter's five-year-old. What do you want me to do? I don't know.". I'll drive to where you are." In my rear view mirror, I noticed that Jack's seven-year-old brother, Sh...

Where we encourage one another, love unconditionally, laugh loudly and share life together! Friday, May 23, 2014. Close-Five Minute Friday Writing. I'm posting for the first time over at LisaJo Bakers Five Minute Friday. I think the closeness of my toddler boy who climbed into my lap oh so long ago still has a close hold on my heart as he transitions into adulthood. It will never leave. It will never fade. Much like our Heavenly Fathers love for us. Will he make good choices? Thanks for stopping by!
