Where God's grace prevails, even when I fail. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. You win some, you lose some, right? With any luck, today will be better! In other news, our family spent a recent weekend in Port St. Joe with Jeff's mom and had a fantastic time, as always. We ate seafood every night (we all had fried scallops, oysters, shrimp, mullet, and boiled shrimp over the course of the weekend) and it was AMAZING! Nina, Ben, and Jeff at Boss Oyster in Appalach. So this past Monday I got a call from Ben's teacher that he had a 103 degree fever and I needed to come get him. Long story short - he had PNEUMONIA! So the PresWIC retreat last weekend in Macon was awesome! Our speaker, Susan Hunt. So, anyway, you can be praying for us about that if you want. And to round out this post and bring a smile back to my face - here is my Ben bear! Ben and his handsome daddy.

The Cothrans' NOLA Adventures. Saturday, August 16, 2014. 30 inches (25 %). Headcirc 47 cm (75-90%). Clearly all the food she eats goes straight to her head. Is running, climbing on everything, and walking backwards. Loves swimming, and anything to do with water. Says about 8-10 words (mama, dada, more, uh oh, nana (banana), dog, hi, bye bye, no (very consistent with that one) bubbles). Starts her new school next week! She is going to have a tough transition but I know she's going to have a great year.
