Benjamin and Karen do stuff. We continue to lag on updating this blog. I think we're going to have to resort to monthly or quarterly updates at this rate.things are just so busy around here. Here are some highlights of what's been going on:. We survived the first year of parenthood! Cannon's Mema (Benjamin's mom) stayed out for an extra week, so it was great to have an extra set of hands to help. Mommy and Daddy managed to even have a date-night (Nick's on Main in Los Gatos is so gooooood! NaNoWriMo 2016...

Threw us a fabulous co-ed baby shower a couple weeks ago, it was so much fun! Marcy did an excellent job of recapping the event. On her blog and taking pictures. 33 weeks - I saw a similar photo on a website and made Benjamin re-create it!

Benjamin and Karen do stuff. We have some exciting news to report.we're preggars again! Baby #2 is expected to arrive around Feb 3. We're 13 weeks along and so far I'm feeling great. I had a little nausea at the beginning but nothing major - I pretty much feel the same as I did with Cannon (so far anyway). Today we had an ultrasound and saw the baby moving around and waving to us. Some questions you might have about this new baby:. Benjamin is partial to “ Due. 2 What’s the baby’s gender? 7 Hate to beat ...

Benjamin and Karen do stuff. Cannon is three and a half months old! This past month has been pretty eventful. Cannon is quite an active baby - he can't sit still for too long. He's always been strong, able to hold his head up and constantly wanting to stand since he was 2 months old. Now he has some fun baby contraptions (thanks to our friends. Last week and he did so well on the plane (whew! On another note, Uncle Tony will be visiting us this weekend from Oregon.we are super excited! Is this thing on?

Benjamin and Karen do stuff. We had a baby! Too funny - I just found the blog entry below that Benjamin drafted the day Hudson was born. I've decided that we need to do a better job at keeping up with our blog so that someday our boys can read about all the crazy times we had as a family. This means we have a backlog of posts to catch up on. So here goes. Around noon we got word that Tony missed his flight! Enter our neighbors. Amy and Wahid saved us! Welcome to the world, Hudson! Benjamin and Karen do stuff. We had a mini reunion with some friends from Cannon's infant classroom at Happy Hollow Zoo. On Saturday. Addison and Cannon have been friends and in the same class since they were four months old! Last weekend we went to Ardenwood Historic Farm. In Fremont. What a fun and laid-back place! Cannon thoroughly enjoyed running around, checking out the peacock, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys and . tractors. Not that were comparing. Although Hudson's features are changing every day...

Benjamin and Karen do stuff. We've been making homemade baby food for Cannon ever since he started solids and I have to say that it's become my new favorite hobby. I enjoy cooking in general but it's even more rewarding to see Cannon devour his food.the kid can eat! Making your own baby food may seem daunting but it's actually really fun and super easy to do:. Steam veggies in microwaveable bags (huge time saver and also more nutritious than the stove-top method). A CSA that delivers a box of fresh, loca...
