Rapa Nui day 2 (Day 4). Asymp; Leave a comment. I woke up at 7 to hike the tallest point on the island, Terevaka. You could see the coast around the whole island from the top, as well as the islands only town: Hanga Roa. Got back to the hostel around 1, and decided to check out the east coast of Rapa Nui. Around the corner from Rona Raraku is the most known site of the Moai, Tongariki. These 15 Moai are the ones in most pictures of Rapa Nui. Larr; Previous post. Next post →. I look forward to posting my pictures when I get a chance (photos taken by Mark Edward).
