Gives new meaning to a German Shepard Coat! Or perhaps the office manager who saved every single slip of paper in boxes for over 18 years. Yes, 18 YEARS! No big dea...

Organize with Hart: I love IKEA

http://organizewithhart.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-love-ikea.html

Monday, August 22, 2011. I wrote a post about visiting IKEA for the first time a few years ago. I just went to IKEA yesterday to look for a bookcase. I still love that store! And I found an awesome bookcase. IKEA gets 5 stars from me! Posted by Donna Hart Hunter. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tip of the Week. Wine racks make great magazine holders. Just roll up the magazine and slide it in. A nice touch for a guest room - leave a slot open for a bottle of water (or wine!

Organize with Hart: Scissors Scissors Scissors

http://organizewithhart.blogspot.com/2009/07/scissors-scissors-scissors.html

Monday, July 20, 2009. When I was little, we lived in a row house in Philadelphia. There were eight of us, three bedrooms and one very small teeny tiny bathroom. Perhaps this is where I first learned the theory of ‘less is more’. 8220;And what does this have to do with scissors? In my own home, I have scissors everywhere. So next time you are out shopping, don’t forget to pick up an extra pair of scissors. You never know just when you might need them. I wonder if mom still has those old scissors.

Organize with Hart: Back from Vacation!

http://organizewithhart.blogspot.com/2009/08/back-from-vacation.html

Monday, August 24, 2009. We also went to MOSI – Tampa’s Museum of Science and Industry. What a fantastic place! We spent hours in the children’s area alone. We did not get to see everything, so one of the days I am going back alone to catch up on what I missed. From Tampa we headed east to Palm Coast where my parents (Nanny and Pop Pop to the kids) live. Mom and I then took the kids to Daytona Beach for a few days. Again, more fun swimming, more putt putt (Mason’s favorite! It could comfortably sleep 12!

Organize with Hart: Daily Drawer

http://organizewithhart.blogspot.com/2009/09/on-daily-basis-i-pretty-much-have-same.html

Monday, September 21, 2009. On a daily basis, I pretty much have the same routine for getting ready to be seen in public. After showering, the amount of time it takes to get “ready” is down to a science. After 40 some plus years of getting “ready” for all kinds of - well whatever – it should be a no-brainer by now. Something that simplifies this effort is my Daily Drawer. In our master bath, I have a drawer that has only. The idea behind a Daily Drawer is that the drawer is empty of anything. Save closet...
