http://asoutherncross.blogspot.com/2006/08/tooo-much-cake.html
The Turners go to Brasil. Sunday, August 06, 2006. That is right folks. There is such a thing as too much cake. I have been to two parties. One day one party, the NEXT day another party. Funny no? I guess I am either popular or the people around here are just really, really nice. (My flesh likes the former but. It is probably the later) The first party was classic Gauchu (Rio grande person) party. With the classic Gauchu music (Can you say Polka? All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.".

Fighting for joy in the already and the not yet. Monday, June 2, 2008. Yes, I am back from Na. And yes, I DID take notes on the rest of the sessions. I haven't been able to post them yet, though, because they are on my laptop which my parents borrowed. Making a quiet time plan: picking a book at a time to read through, slowly, with prayer and note-taking. Reading through the Bible: this can happen by fits and starts or at any pace, but I hope to finish next May. Crying out to God. View my complete profile.

Fighting for joy in the already and the not yet. Wednesday, September 19, 2007. MC courses this semester. This class is tough, but not a huge leap up from last year, so we all know what we're doing. The teacher is a new professor named Justin Boyer, who isn't much older than most of us. He makes class pretty interesting and we enjoy it. Ear Training/Sight Singing 3/4. Survey of Music Literature. We have NO TENORS! But one girl in the group knows some tenors and she's trying to invite them to join. Un...

8220;The Deadly Light”. H P Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu, in. Tales of H. P. Lovecraft. Ed by Joyce Carol Oates (New York: The Ecco Press, 2000), 52. At minimum, I think it would be wrong for me to read Lovecraft only for my own morbid fascination. Consequently, I ask: what are the redeeming qualities of Lovecraft’s work? What truths does it communicate about the universe? Responses to ““The Deadly Light””. Feed for this Entry. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Instead he waited and he watched. He was a lighthouse in the midst of the stars, swinging his beam around and around, sweeping out the area of his orbit. He was the invisible tether which bound his companions to a hope which vicariously flowed through him. He shone with none but twice-reflected light. He was a Moon to the Moon itself. He was so far from his home. A robot would do nothing but sail from home to Moon to home to Moon to home . . . They were briefed on the possibility of alien contact. Ho...

http://kevinschellhase.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Fighting for joy in the already and the not yet. Sunday, January 20, 2008. Well, I'm sitting in my empty room, all packed for college, and leaving tomorrow morning on the early train. Even though I'll be home for summer and winter breaks, this could quite possibly be the last time I live, fulltime, under this roof. On the other hand, Grove City is the college of my dreams. MC, despite how much of it I greatly enjoyed, always felt like a transitionary period for me. (Granted, thats what it's SUPPO...Durin...
