Softly Whispering I Love You": five versions and one that never existed. When I looked into the history of this song I thought I was tracing the original version of a 1972 Australian single by Johnny Farnham and Allison Durbin. That single never existed. It turned out, and the song was never recorded by Farnham and Durbin. One track on the album, Baby Without You.
