We want to unearth the evolutionary history of every human gene, and present this history in a simple way that still allows powerful exploration, and understanding of gene functions in any organism. Orthologene is a project of the Manning Lab. At the Salk Institute, and grows out of our work focused on the evolution of protein kinases.
