August 9, 2016. I finally have the time off from school that I’ve been looking forward to since I got here. I had initially planned to travel throughout Japan these first few weeks in August, but now that the time has come I’ve decided against it. It’s unlikely I’ll ever have the chance to live in Osaka again, though I will likely be back in Japan many times. As such, I’ve decided to use this time to see as much of the city and rest of Kansai as I can. Alley by Hozen-ji temple in Osaka. Unagi, or eel.
