En av konsekvensena skulle vara att man inte skulle kunna förutspå hur mycket dem pengar man har skulle vara värda i framtiden. Det skulle vara bättre att investera sina pengar i fastigheter eller råvaror för att om inflationen skulle öka skulle även på priset på fastigheter och råvaror öka men pengarna skulle ha det samma värdet.
