Dahab, 2 weeks this time not 9 months! However hard I tried I just couldn't stay away! After being in the UK for the last 4 months and only getting out on the water a handful of times, I thought it was about time I got back to Dahab where I know I can get out on the water more than once a month. Apart from today the forecast is looking amazing! Especially for the Dahab festival competition tomorrow where it is looking like it will blow a good 30 knots all day. Windguru: Dahab. Long time no update, the reason for that is that I have hardly been out on the water since I left Dahab on the 16. Last week I decided to have a play on the frozen water in La Plagne. Before I went to La Plagne I had only done 3 hours of boarding before, so on the first day it was a steep learning curve. On the 25th of August I was fortunate enough to be contacted by F2 and was offered a National Team Rider package, an opportunity I was more than happy to accept. Windfest is still the amazing event that it has always been, I unfortunately didn’t get to go last year as I was working in Dahab, but I was able to attend this year. Gwithian goes off x2! Well Autumn has fully kicked in this week! Hedging all bets me and Sarah took Wednesday off this week and after surfing Fistral Wednesday night, kipping in the van and then windsurfing Gwithian/Mexicos twice and surfing through sunset when the wind dropped it was worth it! The waves were great, the wind was super gusty side-offshore/offshore and varying from 10-35knts making it a tad tricky in places! Anyways, long story short Godrevy fired! Hope you like the pics!
