So far we've done some "drive-by tourism" as we like to call it (not really knowing what we're looking at or visiting the sights, just taking pictures as we drive or walk by), went to Chinatown, the land of cheap watches, jewelry and plastic things, where you can hardly buy anything not in multiples of six or more, at least the boat ride there was fun. as was the evening that followed. She was rescued when her mother was hit by a car, and will be released when she is old enough. I guess this is a regular thing for many outback Aussie's. Friday, February 09, 2007. West Coast Journey Pics Part2. There were Emu's all overExmouth. And they are scavangers. A pack of about five stole my lunch of noodles, an apple and crackers as soon as I turned my back. The pelicans at Monkey Mia Marine Park. They were amazing to watch and not afraid of us at all, making themselves quite comfortable in the sand next to Daniel. You can see how close we were to them. The famous dolfins of Monkey Mia, they come right up onto the beach, and I got to feed one!
