I'm not strong at sewing, but I thought that this project would be doable. Plus, it had a quilting aspect, which I've recently been exploring. The version of this bag was done exactly according to the instructions, which you can find HERE. 18) 5" x 5" squares (I used a charm pack, but you can cut your own, if preferred). 1) 8" x 15" piece of fabric for the bottom.

My hubby and I are at Disneyland often, and Halloweentime means Nightmare Before Christmas takes over the Haunted Mansion. I've always loved the Nightmare theme and I really wanted to do something "inspired by", rather than a straight copy. Thursday, August 28, 2014. My First Blog - Crate Cat Bed. I'm so excited for my very first post in the blogosphere. My first project is an easy one. A cat bed made from a wooden crate. My cat loves boxes,the smaller the better. After a bit of inspiration from Pinterest, the idea was to make her a cozy, but cute place to nap. Wooden crate from craft store.
