Ok, so we spent the first month or so with our clothes in bags/boxes/suitcases just jammed in our closet- which was fine except we wore the same weeks-worth of clothes over and over because we didn't want to dig. So we purchased this $20 hotel rack as a temporary fix. Seemed like a great idea until we hung 95% of both. We can live like this for a year or two until we do the custom shelving. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. One of the features I loved about our house originally were the cute shutters around the windows. Well, in replacing the windows, the shutters got thrown away. I was bummed about it because they completed the house with the columns. Lane replaced the trim and I started painting in April before my family came.and we. With the shutters before we bought it. Thursday, November 17, 2011. This week marks one year since we became homeowners! Sometimes it feels like it's been longer because of everything we've done in this house. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas last year we gutted the house, reconstructed, and moved in. Between last Thanksgiving and this Thanksgiving, here is a list of things we have done (and I may forget some):. Ripped up vinyl flooring and toilets. Put up new walls. Built island shelves/counter tops. Stained cement in basement.

Friday, August 5, 2011. Just so you know, the fine line between the properties was intentional. We had to kill our yard of weeds because, well, it was. We tried bringing it back to life but it just wasn't havin' it. So currently we are sporting the yellow. We're going to rototill it and then hydroseed. Since we're almost done with the inside projects, we'll be able to focus more attention on the yard. That's as much as we got, and most of it was weeds. This was the yard when we first looked at the house.

Monday, April 22, 2013. I am in Baby Heaven! And so in love with my new Grandbabies. Baby number two came April 10th and he is so adorable. Kobe Dale 7lbs 5oz, 22 inches long. We went to the Los Angeles Temple. Eric and I were sealed there 30 years ago. Mike's parents. Were also sealed there. It was a beautiful sight and nothing gets much better than seeing your. I miss these people that I spent so much time with. I miss working. The Affonso Family was the first family to welcome us to Northern California 20 years.
