We Are The Lovings. Well, not always, but we try! Yes, we are the Lovings. On September 24, 2013. So, this is my new blog, because, frankly, I hated the old one. I chose this name because we have a running joke. Whenever things get tense around here, my husband will yell, but we are the LOVINGS (dammit! Well, we think it’s funny. This is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the chill in the air, all things pumpkin, and the fact that the pool is closed. My faith in God, wine and my friends keep me sa...

Mama Knows, Honeychild. Back in the Day. A Little About Me. You are here: Home. Go To Hell, You Old Bastard. Go To Hell, You Old Bastard. October 16, 2013. I had planned on blogging last week, I swear. But you know what they say about “plans”, right? By the way, has anyone ever said that to you when you were in a really bad mood? If so, how furious did it make you? Thanks but no thanks, Woody Allen. Really, though, I felt at peace, very happy, and even. For the extra time I got to spend with the Lord.

Letting Go.To Grasp What Really Matters. Video & Press. The Important Thing About Yelling. May 22, 2013. I cherish the notes I receive from my children whether they are scribbled with a Sharpie on a yellow sticky note or written in perfect penmanship on lined paper. But the Mother’s Day poem I received from my 9-year-old daughter was especially meaningful. In fact, the first line of the poem caused my breath to catch as warm tears slid down my face. You see, it hasn’t always been this way. Was it that th...

two Os + more: Walking Through Lent with Small Children
http://twoosplusmore.blogspot.com/2014/02/walking-through-lent-with-small-children.html
The adventures of the family of O. Monday, February 24, 2014. Walking Through Lent with Small Children. Lent is right around the corner. In 9 days we will begin what I think is one of the hardest liturgical seasons, but at the same time, I do love it. If you take it for all it is, Lent is a time of such depth and a well needed cleaning out and dusting of oneself. As an adult these requests made of you are demanding to say the least even though deep down we know it is for the ultimate good of our soul.

http://rrom4mre.blogspot.com/2013/03/happy-st-josephs-day.html
Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Happy St. Joseph's Day. Happy St. Joseph's Day. Started with wonderful breakfast with the girls, thank you Kate Downes and Rebecca Hall. Then lunch with friends (Reesa Barklage and Lisa Melnick) for Traditional Italian followed by outside time on this awesome March Day before the March winds began to blow. Now for a movie with the kids before I send them to bed early. Getting ready for Mass. Working on her math skills, typical Eriskon, it is her favorite game.
