Our sweet little Norah turned 3 last week, and if you've spoken to her anytime in the last couple of months she likely told you she was going to have a Mermaid and Pirate Party. What an absolute joy it was to piece together the space for this sweet little girl of ours. I started with a color palette from a duvet cover I fell in love with from where else, Target. :) Then after much diy'ing, salvation army runs, and hardwork it finally came together. And after it was complete, I absolutely fell in love with it!

She is so sweet, and one of the absolute joys of our life! So after waiting 7 weeks to get her into the Pediatric Opthamologist, cause I'm a freak mom and wouldn't bring her precious baby eyes to a regular adult optometrist, we finally got her in! They believe that this could help the left eye catch up. We call this 2 hours/day "Pirate Time".

Monday, December 29, 2008. 1 Year Since Aidan's Accident! It has been 1 year since Aidan's accident and the worst day (and the next three) of our lives! It was so scary, but through it all God gave us such a sense of peace. I never really understood "peace that passes all understanding". Our family and friends were (and always are) so amazing. It was a great day to celebrate! This was the first year that Aidan dyed eggs, he didn't really care. It was also the first year he got an Easter Basket. He was very excited.
