Friday, March 18, 2011. Emma's Window Phase 2. I have Phase 2 of Emma's window project compete. Phase 2 was to build a valance to house a curtain rod. You might be thinking to yourself. Why not just hang a rod like any normal person would? I was using my dining table wrapped in paper to paint the valance on. When I was finished Emma was more than excited to color on it. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Top Secret Project Complete! I made my first quilt! Close up of the quilting on the front. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Ramblings for the day:. A while back I re-lined a vintage suitcase that was my husband's grandmother's, but never posted pics of it. My sweet baby at one month in the suitcase. It is amazing how fast they grow in 4 months (taken this evening). A close up (sorry it is not rotated). I love tile. it makes me giddy. The first things I think of in a dream home are tile backslashes in the kitchen, tile around the fireplace, and bathrooms covered in tile. Sunday, August 19, 2012.

Sunday, September 16, 2012. Skirts and more skirts. These are the two skirts for Emma's friend. The top skirt fabric might look very. Familiar to some people. I originally bought this fabric as table clothes for a friend's. Baby shower and it has been re-purposed into oh so many things. The second. Skirt is a 'Minnie' skirt, because she is a fan of Minnie Mouse. These are the two skirts I made for Emma. Emma calls the top one her. Grey Minnie Skirt. The grey fabric was originally bought for her second.

Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Oops Forgot to post this Monday. MY GOALS FROM LAST WEEK. 1) loose a pound. I lost 4 lbs some how (not eating entire pans of brownies helped). 2) hopefully get my machine back and start quilt blocks. 21 blocks finished! 3) stop thinking about working out and do something (no more excuses). Every time I bounce the baby to sleep I do squats and I even did a few reverse crunches (it's a start). MY GOALS FOR THIS WEEK. 1) loose a pound. 2) finish the quilt top. First the new stuff.
