Our journey with Levi. On the Right Track. October 25, 2014. Levi was doing well enough by yesterday afternoon that Matt headed back to work. And when he returned to the hospital, I was able to go home for the night – time with my girls, watching the Royals win (WooHoo! And some deep sleep in my own bed. However, it’s a rare version of what they typically see, so we will need to consult with infection specialists within the hospital to confirm that we are attacking it correctly with the right antibiotics. Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. This was Grace's first Christmas and overall she did very well. We know Matthew had some experience with Christmas before he came home, but it was pretty evident Grace did not. When we put up our decorations at the first of the month, things at first were a little hairy. Can't begin to imagine what went through her mind as we put up a tree inside the house, people kept asking her if she was good and if Santa was coming to her house?

Thursday, March 24, 2016. Shelby is in Florida for a couple more months. She really is having a great time. I was really proud of her. I can't tell you how many times I saw her helping other guests and that was even on days she wasn't working. She is also great tour guide. Shelby pretty much knows where everything is at and knows many short cuts and the best places to eat. Grace and her favorite "Mimi". Matt got to play a part in Belle's story time as Maurice. Even Jeff had a part at Belle's story time.

Saturday, December 12, 2015. B is going to Boise and Disney World, too! The Akron Zips qualified to go to a bowl game this year. Shelby heard this week that the band will get to go too. So next week the band will board chartered planes to go the "Famous Idaho Potato Bowl" in Boise. The game will be on ESPN Tues December 22 at 3:30. I am keeping three pairs of tiels which should produce. White faces (pearls, pieds) and pearls, pieds and some yellow cheeks. The remaining pair should produce dark gray feather babies.
