Founded in 1979, Wake Enterprises, Inc (WE) provides vocational and social opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and became the first agency in North Carolina offering supported employment in 1982. WE serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, down syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, and seizure disorders.
