This morning our sailors woke up on their final morning to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach, mere feet from their tent, wind rushing through the palm fronds and sand hiding in places they didn't even know existed. Franklin and the Minks. August 3, 2016. The trip over to Green is about 6.5km across open water, but on this occasion with the wind behind and to the North of us – an easy crossing. All we had to do was to aim north a bit to compensate for the southward drift. We made landfall in under 90 mins.
