Sunday, April 19, 2009. Things have been tough lately. Last week, I lost a friend. She had a lengthy illness and it wasn't exactly unexpected, but of course that doesn't help how much it hurts. As anyone who ever lost a loved one knows, the loss - whether it's a family member, a friend, a horse or a pet - tends to trigger other losses, too. So as I grieve for my friend, I also grieve for my mother, my dog from 5 years ago, and the amazing Arab mare I had during my childhood and teens. I hope you are ok.

Back then, my mother and I would travel through beautiful rolling-hill landscapes to get to the stable, where our horses would be frolicking outside in a big pasture.then we'd tool around, maybe go for a trail ride, just ride around and explore and have fun. Took the 4th of January off to rest. Did my highest total volume of swings tonight! 1X20, 3X30, 1X35, 1X25, 1X20 = 190 swings. That is up from my 150 swing goal. Down to 205.2lbs so down another 1/2 pound in a week. We'll see what next week brings. Swings tonight and a fight practice. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Good work out day.
